WARDOGS Error 1147405308: Access Denied Checks
The short answer
If WARDOGS shows Access Denied with error 1147405308, treat it as a join/authentication symptom, not proof of a ban. A 10 September Steam thread has player reports but no developer diagnosis or confirmed fix. Save the complete message, then follow the matching account-restriction or join-failure branch.

Error 1147405308 or Access Denied? Start here
If the full message contains Access Denied and 1147405308, treat it as a join or authentication symptom first, not automatic evidence of a ban. A 10 September Steam discussion contains the same error in the opening post and visible replies, but it does not contain a developer diagnosis or confirmed repair.
- Save the full message, including the application that showed it, rather than only the number.
- If the message explicitly says you are banned, continue with the dated official-ban update below.
- If it does not, check for a pending client update and a newer official notice before one normal retry.
Do not treat a player’s IPv6 or VPN suggestion as a universal repair. We found no developer source confirming a cause or a working fix for this code.
Incorrectly banned? Check the dated official update
Official notice, updated 11 September 2026: In the pinned developer thread, G_Medlin reports that a number of bans have been reversed and asks affected players to try playing again. The thread also describes ongoing work on incorrect bans.
If your message explicitly reports a ban:
- Read the developer’s opening post for any newer instructions. Player replies below it are not official resolutions.
- If that retry instruction still applies, make one normal attempt through the unmodified game client. This is a check for a changed account state, not a local unban procedure.
- If the restriction remains, save its exact wording, timestamp and visible Build/version. Use an official support or appeal route if one is provided with the restriction; otherwise check the developer thread for further instructions. Do not publish private account details in a public thread.
Limits: This notice does not identify every affected account, promise that all bans were mistaken, or assign a cause to every numbered error. File verification cannot reverse an account restriction.
Where does the refusal appear?
| Location of the message | Correct next branch |
|---|---|
| Windows or an installer, before the game opens | Preserve the named component and file or permission message |
| A launcher explicitly naming an anti-cheat component | Use the anti-cheat checks |
| Inside the game after login or selecting a server | Check the current incident notice and client version |
| An explicit account or server restriction | Use official support or the stated appeal route |
| No refusal appears; a queue just stays visible | Use the queue guide |
Do not assign the same meaning to similar numbers from different components. Include the surrounding words and punctuation in your report, not only a cropped code.
If the game rejects a join
- Note whether you reached the menu, opened the list and selected a particular server.
- Read the current official notices. The launch hotfix addressed joining issues, but that fact alone does not identify your error.
- Check Steam Downloads for a pending update to the installed game. Finish it before one normal relaunch.
- If there is no instruction to wait, try a suitable different server if the browser provides one. This comparison is optional; record both results.
- Stop repeated retries if the same error persists and prepare a useful support report.
A successful attempt elsewhere narrows the observation to those attempts. It does not prove a particular server is misconfigured, nor rule out an intermittent service fault.
If the message names a local file
Following Steam’s verification procedure may identify missing or changed game files. It does not establish why access to a protected file was refused.
Do not take ownership of system directories, grant everyone full permissions, turn off protection or run unrelated repair scripts to remove a message you have not identified.
If an account restriction is explicit
Keep the notice and contact the official support route it identifies. Do not assume that every join refusal is a ban, and do not try to bypass a genuine restriction with a modified client or a different identity.

Remove credentials, session tokens and personal file paths before sharing. A precise report is more useful than trying fixes for unrelated numbered errors.
