Privacy
Last updated 19 October 2026. This page describes GameFix Radar, not every service linked from our articles.
A small, static website
We do not offer user accounts, comments, newsletters, file uploads or contact forms. Our guide search does not set cookies. The background follows your system appearance until you choose Light, Dark or Follow system. This preference is stored on your device in browser local storage under gfr-theme, solely to remember your display choice, not for accounts or tracking. You can remove it by clearing this site's browser data. If storage is unavailable, the controls still work on the current page, but the choice may not persist. The selected language is part of the page URL. Optional analytics, third-party hosting and advertising services are described separately below.
Search
Guide filtering runs in your browser against the guide list already included on the page. The search phrase can appear in the page URL so that searches are shareable. A URL containing a search phrase may be recorded in browser history and hosting request logs when requested. Do not enter passwords, email addresses or other private information in search.
Hosting and security
The website is hosted through Cloudflare. Delivering and protecting a page requires technical request information, such as an IP address, requested URL and browser headers. Cloudflare may process that information and apply security mechanisms under its own policies. We do not claim that visiting a hosted website creates no technical records.
Read the Cloudflare privacy policy for its description of processing and security services.
Optional Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 (GA4, measurement ID G-52MT422404) helps us understand page visits. Analytics is off by default for everyone. We load Google's analytics script and collect analytics only after you explicitly allow it, and only on https://gamefixradar.com, not on local or preview sites. After you allow it, Google may process page views, browser and device information, and identifiers or cookies. When initializing analytics, our site sets page_location and page_referrer to the origin and path only, omitting query parameters and fragments. These overrides do not disable enhanced measurement configured in the GA4 data stream; if enabled, it may additionally collect interactions such as site-search terms. Do not enter personal information in search. We disable Google signals and advertising personalization, and do not send a user ID or custom personal data.
You can allow, refuse or withdraw analytics through the analytics control in the footer on every page. This choice is separate from advertising, including Adsterra. We remember your allowance or refusal for 180 days in browser local storage under gfr-analytics-consent-v1; if that storage is unavailable, analytics stays off. Refusing or withdrawing stops future analytics requests. Withdrawal is shared with other open tabs of this site; tabs that have loaded analytics reload to stop it. Withdrawal cannot erase data already sent to Google. Google's data practices are described in the Google privacy links below.
Google AdSense and advertising
We include Google AdSense code to connect this website to Google's advertising service. Adding this code does not mean that Google has approved the site or that an advertisement will appear on every visit. Loading the code connects your browser to Google and may share technical information, such as your IP address, browser information and the page URL.
When advertising is served, Google and other third-party advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure and protect ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and other sites on the Internet, subject to applicable settings and consent requirements.
Advertising and privacy choices
You can manage Google ad personalization in Google My Ad Center. You can also visit YourAdChoices for choices offered by participating advertising providers. These choices do not necessarily remove all advertisements or prevent all technical requests.
Where a consent message is displayed, use its controls to accept, decline or manage the available advertising purposes and vendors. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. We must obtain consent where required and use a Google-certified consent management platform for applicable advertising in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. A privacy policy alone does not collect consent.
Read how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services and the Google privacy policy for more information.
External sources
Links to Steam, Easy Anti-Cheat and other source sites take you to independently operated services with their own policies. Optional YouTube players load only after you choose to play a video. We do not embed community or social widgets. Credited game images are served as part of this site.
Changes
We will update this page when our data practices change. New forms, analytics or affiliate tracking may require additional disclosures and visitor controls. Our commercial disclosure explains how advertising relates to our editorial content.
Optional Adsterra banners
Advertising disclosure updated: 7 October 2026.
Current guide pages offer one optional 300 × 250 Adsterra banner after the article and its sources. In regions that require prior consent (EEA, UK), its code is not requested before permission; in other regions the banner loads automatically and can be turned off at any time. An explicit “granted” or “denied” choice is stored as gfr-ad-consent-v2 in this browser for 180 days; a region check (from Cloudflare’s standard connection trace) is cached for 24 hours as gfr-ad-geo-v1. Neither contains a personal identifier. Use the withdrawal button beside a banner to stop future loads and reload the page; this does not delete data already received or third-party cookies. If storage is unavailable, an explicit choice cannot be remembered and the banner stays off unless it already loads automatically without a choice. Adsterra and its partners may receive IP addresses, browser/device information and page URLs and use cookies for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. This control is not a Google-certified CMP and does not control the separately retained Google AdSense code. Browser cookie controls and each provider’s privacy choices remain available.
If saving a withdrawal fails, a denial-only flag in this tab’s window.name keeps Adsterra off during same-site navigation. It stores no personal identifier. A successfully saved new permission clears that flag.
